Our Story

Oil Recovery Services collects in excess of 1.8 million litres of used oil a year from over 600 hundred clients across Kwa Zulu Natal.

 

Since its establishment in 2000 Oil Recovery Services has grown into a strong and well respected company known for its ethos of honesty and efficiency. We have enjoyed many years of mutually beneficial relationships with our clients who range from farmers and individual workshops to multi-branch corporates. By combining several bakkie and trailer rigs with a medium sized tanker we offer a decidedly personalised, flexible and immediate collection service.       

 

With oil bulking facilities in both Durban and Weenen, all collected oil is delivered as per ROSE Foundation requirements to ISO 14001 approved processors. Because we only supply used oil to government licensed and NORA-SA accredited processors we provide legal and traceable safe disposal certification for all volumes of oil collected.     

 

ORS is proud to be closely associated with both the ROSE (Recycling Oil Saves the Environment) Foundation and NORA (National Oil Recycling Association of South Africa). In 2006 ORS was invited by the ROSE Foundation to participate in establishing NORA SA. Having participated in this process, Vinko Coetzee (ORS Director) served on the 1st board of directors and as chairman of the KZN  branch of NORA SA for its first 3 year term.

 

After 19 years we have gained invaluable experience in client relations, and in operating in accordance with best practice. We look forward to continuing to provide ever improving service by combining this experience with our industry knowledge.
